Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme encourages our team to get involved in fundraising and volunteering with philanthropic organisations. We are proud to collaborate with charity partners, locally and internationally, to make a genuine difference for the communities we work in.
This year, Goshawk has partnered with Depaul – a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in Ireland.
Depaul is a cross-border charity set up in 2002, which supports some of the most marginalised individuals, couples and families experiencing homelessness. Depaul has 29 services, which helped over 4,000 people last year, by providing accommodation and community based services.
Peter’s Place Service offers accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness. The service aims to enable young people to gain stability and certainty in their lives, at a time when they need it the most.
The Befriending Service supports adult men, to ensure they are not left feeling isolated and alone, once they have moved out of homeless services and into their own homes. The Befriending volunteers offer informal social support, such as day trips and familiarising them with their new local communities.
The Inclusion Health Model aims to work with health agencies, to provide the best solutions and care for the most in need. This collaboration helps to alleviate hospital admissions and ensure people experiencing homelessness are appropriately discharged when they leave.
Goshawk participated in the event which is a mass participation sleep out to tackle homelessness globally. Together Goshawk raised funds by taking part in the sleepout in both Dublin and Hong Kong.
We are delighted to be partnered with Goshawk. Their warmth and dedication to our cause means so much. I’ve no doubt their support will help build a brighter future for people experiencing homelessness.
