Goshawk is pleased to announce the acquisition of one Airbus A321-200 aircraft on a twelve-year lease to VietJet Air. The delivery is the first of a four aircraft transaction with VietJet Air, consisting of one further A321-200, and two A321neo aircraft.
All four aircraft are scheduled to deliver over the next twelve months. The A321neos represent the first aircraft of the type in the Goshawk fleet.
Goshawk’s committed fleet now stands at 100 aircraft, with a focus on young, fuel- efficient jets on lease to 39 airlines in 28 countries. There are commitments in place for a further 18 aircraft scheduled to deliver this year, bringing the total fleet to just under 100 aircraft.
Peter Watson, CCO of Goshawk commented, “We are delighted to build our existing relationship with VietJet Air with the delivery of this A321 aircraft. Vietjet is well positioned to capitalise on rising demand for air travel in the region, and we look forward to partnering again with the airline during this growth phase.”
