Alan joined the Finance team in September 2019. Prior to joining Goshawk, Alan spent 4 years at ORIX Aviation where he gained experience in a number of roles in the Group Accounting & Treasury department.

Alan is a Chartered Accountant, having completed his training contract in PwC Dublin’s Asset Management Audit & Assurance department. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork.

Álvaro joined the Goshawk team in February 2018 and has responsibility for Goshawk’s debt-capital-raising and corporate finance activities.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Álvaro held a Vice-President position with DVB Bank covering the EMEA region and before that was a founding member of the Structured and Corporate Finance team of International Airlines Group created after the merger between British Airways and Iberia.

Álvaro is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law by Universidad Autónoma in Madrid and is a Spanish Qualified Lawyer and a Member of the Colégio de Abogados de Madrid (Legal Bar Association of Madrid).

Aman joined Goshawk team in May 2018 with more than 18 years of experience in aviation sales, marketing, leasing and strategic planning field.

In his current position, Aman is responsible for originating aircraft sale-and-leaseback, placement opportunities and lease management from our Hong Kong office covering Asia-Pacific Airlines.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Aman worked for Bombardier and Saint-Gobain in various roles in Sales and marketing leadership with experience across Asia, Europe, Middle- East, Africa and North America.

Aman is a graduate from the Schulich School of Business; York University – Canada, where he earned his MBA with specialization in International Business and Strategic Management. In addition, he holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the NIT Kurukshetra, India.

Amanda joined the Finance team in Goshawk in November 2016. Prior to joining, Amanda spent 4 years in PwC, specialising in the aviation leasing and banking industries.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, a Master of Arts (Hons) in Accounting, and is a Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Amy joined Goshawk in May 2018 as a member of the operations team, primarily responsible for Deliveries and Insurance.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Amy spent 1 year with Accipiter, working as a Contract Manager. Before that, Amy held a position with AWAS as an Insurance Manager.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick.

Amy-Jane joined Goshawk as a Financial Accountant in September 2018. Prior to joining, Amy-Jane worked as a Financial Accountant with Sky Leasing.

Amy-Jane is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA), having completed her training contract in Grant Thornton’s recovery and reorganisation department. After qualifying, she joined Grant Thornton’s aviation advisory department and completed a Diploma in Aviation Finance and Leasing in the Law Society of Ireland.

Andrew joined the Goshawk team in October 2019 and works in FP&A where he has responsibility for strategic and financial planning activities. Prior to joining Goshawk, Andrew spent 5 years at Avolon, where he filled a number of roles including Liabilities Manager, Credit Risk Analyst and Investor Relations.

A member of Chartered Accounts Ireland, Andrew qualified with KPMG in Dublin and holds a Masters of Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD.

Andy has 40 years experience in the aviation industry, having started his career as an avionics engineer. For the past 30 years he has worked in aircraft leasing in both Technical and Marketing roles with GPA, GECAS, Magellan Air, RBS Aviation Capital, Investec Bank and Goshawk.

Andy built up technical teams from scratch in Magellan, RBS and Investec as well as Goshawk and was responsible for major purchase programmes of new aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer and ATR.

Andy is an ISTAT Certified Senior Aircraft Appraiser and examiner. He is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Wings Club.

Austin joined the Business Analysis team in June 2018 and his responsibilities include analysing, structuring and pricing transactions originated by the commercial team and supporting corporate finance debt raising activities.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Austin spent 5 years at Milestone Aviation Group, where he most recently held the position of Financial Controller. Previously Austin was Retail UK Finance Manager at Bank of Ireland and Assistant Manager at EY, where he provided audit and advisory services to clients in the aircraft leasing, asset management and banking sectors.

Austin is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder, and has a Master of Accounting degree from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Brendan joined the Goshawk team in October 2018 and has responsibility for FP&A activities. Prior to joining Goshawk, Brendan filled a number of senior finance and commercial roles over a ten year period in the Irish utility, ESB – including Group Reporting Manager and Head of Credit Rating and Investor Relations.

A fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA), Brendan qualified with KPMG in Dublin and holds a Masters of Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD.

Carina oversees aircraft trading at Goshawk which includes the origination of aircraft divestment and investment opportunities, as well as assisting with the overall portfolio management strategy for the business. Carina joined Goshawk from AWAS in 2015 where, during her 9 years, she held several key roles in the commercial department including and most recently, Vice President of Aircraft Trading. Carina began her aviation career with CIT Aerospace, supporting the Managing Director and the EMEA sales team.

Carina holds an MBA from The Michael Smurfit School of Business University College Dublin as well as a Marketing Degree from the Marketing Institute of Ireland. She is also a Director of ORBIS Ireland, a charity striving to eliminate avoidable blindness in Southern Ethiopia.

Caroline joined the Goshawk Operations Team in September 2018. Before joining Goshawk, Caroline worked as Office Manager with Sky Leasing.

Prior to Sky Leasing, Caroline began her career in New York City focusing on Human Resources & Event Management.

Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dublin Institute of Technology with an emphasis on Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Christian joined the Goshawk team in January 2019 and has responsibility for Goshawk’s equity origination and corporate finance activities.

With 14 years’ aviation and corporate finance experience, he has worked for Stellwagen Group, Goodbody, Raglan Capital and PwC. Prior to joining Goshawk, Christian was Vice-President at Seraph Aviation Services, where he provided aircraft origination, management and financing services to family office and institutional equity investors.

Christian is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Based in the US, Christine joined Goshawk in 2016 is responsible for developing and managing airline relationships and marketing initiatives for the Americas. Prior to joining Goshawk, Christine held various marketing positions at CIT Aerospace, where her focus was on lessee relationships, lease negotiation and contract administration.

Christine earned both Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a commercial pilot’s license.

Ciara joined Goshawk in October 2019 as Head of Operations, with responsibilities for document management, facilities management, event management, branding & communications, and IT & Operations projects.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Ciara spent 10 years working in banking in London, leading and delivering a broad range of projects and programmes related to strategic business change, IT infrastructure, cost efficiency, operations, regulation, and customer experience. Ciara began her career as a consultant with First Derivatives, and also worked at RBS and HSBC.

Ciara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.

Colin joined Goshawk in March 2018 with over 25 years’ experience having worked for two leasing companies, two banks and two of the Big 4 accounting firms. He has leadership experience of a dual track IPO / private sale process as CFO of Milestone Aviation which was successfully sold to GECAS in 2015. He worked for GECAS until 2018 when he joined Goshawk as CFO. Colin has capital markets/funding experience having raised more than $4bn in debt through public bonds, private placements and bank/institutional debt.

Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and subsequently worked with PwC. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Accounting degrees from UCD.

Conor joined Goshawk in December 2019 as Head of Tax. Before joining Goshawk, Conor was a Director with KPMG with over 10 years’ experience advising aircraft lessors, financial institutions and airlines.

Conor is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Damian joined Goshawk in January 2017. He has over 12 years’ experience in the financial and aviation sectors.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Damian served as the Deputy Treasurer for Ryanair. During his time with Ryanair, Damian financed over 80 aircraft, managed the FX and Interest rate risk exposures of the business, the company’s circa $4bn cash position and the company’s Ex-Im, JOLCO and public bond financing.

Damian previously worked with KBC Bank where he advised corporates on Interest rate and FX hedging. He holds a degree in Financial Mathematics from NUI Galway and a certificate in Corporate Treasury from DCU.

Daniel Claffey joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management department in April 2016.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Daniel worked with Engine Lease Finance Corporation as a Powerplant Engineer. He was responsible for the technical management of engine assets throughout the lease term and project managing numerous special projects.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.

Daniel joined Goshawk in July 2019 as Legal Counsel.   Before joining Goshawk, Daniel spent six years training and working with Matheson solicitors where he gained experience in a number of areas including finance and capital markets, corporate lending and borrowing, real estate finance and international taxation. During this time, he also worked on secondment in the firm’s New York office and as in-house legal counsel at Google.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Law (LLB) from Trinity College Dublin.

David is a member of the Goshawk trading team, covering the origination of aircraft investment and sale opportunities, as well as assisting with the implementation of portfolio management strategy for the business.

Previously, David was a member of Goshawk’s Commercial and Corporate Finance team, with responsibility for the pricing, structuring, and evaluation of commercial and corporate finance opportunities, including sale & leaseback transactions, aircraft trading, and debt raising. Prior to joining Goshawk, David spent 5 years with MUFG, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in London, responsible for the distribution of corporate loans, project/structured finance and derivative exposure across the EMEA region. David previously spent 4 years in Leveraged/Acquisition Finance with AIB in Dublin and London.

David has a BA in Economics from University College Dublin, a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from UCD Smurfit School, and a Master’s Degree in Risk and Asset Management from EDHEC Business School, France. In addition, he is a Level 3 candidate for the CFA programme.

David is the Head of Risk at Goshawk, which incorporates the airline credit risk function globally. He has over 20 years’ experience in the financial and aircraft leasing sectors, and previously worked at SMBC Aviation Capital and NCB Stockbrokers (now owned by Investec).

David is a qualified accountant and holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College, London, and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance (BBS) from Trinity College.

27 years’ experience in the Aircraft industry starting as a Licensed Engineer, progressing through the Aviation services industry to the aircraft Leasing Sector.

Prior to Goshawk worked at Shannon Aerospace, CAE Parc Aviation and Direct Aero Services supporting the Maintenance organisations, Lessors, Airlines and Operators.

Deirdre joined the Treasury team in Goshawk in March 2018.

Deirdre has over 19 years’ experience working in Finance and Aircraft leasing. Most recently, Deirdre worked in Treasury in Aercap, where she was responsible for the funding and execution of cash settlement for aircraft deliveries, daily cash and liquidity management and FX trading.

Edel has over eleven years’ experience in the aviation leasing industry and spent over six years in KPMG specialising in aviation leasing and banking before joined Intrepid Aviation as Financial Controller Ireland. Initially, Edel joined Goshawk as Financial Accountant and was promoted to Head of Business Analysis in October 2017.

Edel holds a Masters in Accounting and is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Elaine joined Goshawk in November 2019 and is mainly responsible for insurance at Goshawk.

Prior to joining Goshawk Elaine was Contracts Manager at DAE and AWAS and before that held a position of AVP with Bank of America Leasing Ireland. Elaine also worked at Cityjet for over 12 years where she gained broad experience in a range of roles in accounting, fleet and insurance.

Elaine holds a BA in Law and has also completed a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance with the Law Society of Ireland.

Ellen is a member of the operations team and is primarily responsible for brand marketing and communications, property projects and the CRM system. She has been involved in a number of strategic and operations projects including systems projects across treasury and contract management, developing our new website and our office move projects in Dublin and Hong Kong.

Before joining Goshawk in 2016, Ellen worked in the Public Relations team for L’Oréal Luxe. Ellen holds a Masters in Business Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from University College Dublin.

Emma joined the Finance team in November 2019.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Emma spent 3 years at PwC working in Foreign Direct Investment Assurance.

Emmet has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry working in a wide variety of roles. Prior to joining Goshawk Emmet worked for Santos Dumont LTD in the dual role of Technical project manager with responsibility for Aircraft redelivery management and Head of Airworthiness for CAMO services.

Emmet’s other career roles include Boeing 737 Fleet principal Engineer in the Technical Services department of ASL Airlines Ireland, Maintenance Controller for Ryanair and Gas Turbine powerplant Engineer Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland.

Eoin joined Goshawk in October 2019 on the Business Analysis team. His responsibilities include analysing and pricing commercial deals including aircraft acquisitions, sales and remarketing, along with debt raises.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Eoin has over 10 years’ experience working in the financial services sector with companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Most recently Eoin was the Valuation Control analyst with Standard Chartered Bank as part of the Aviation Finance team. Prior to this, Eoin worked with Pepper Asset Servicing where he worked as an Investment and Valuation Analyst where he assisted portfolio management, strategy and pricing.

Eoin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science and a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics, both from University College Dublin. He is an Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Ernest joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in July 2019. Before joining Goshawk, Ernest worked at Elix Aviation Capital within the Asset Management department, where his responsibilities encompassed maintenance forecasting, aircraft transaction evaluation and upkeep of the asset management system. Prior to that, Ernest worked as a Fraud Analyst in Ryanair, focusing on the prevention of ticket purchases using stolen credit cards details.

Ernest received his B.Sc. from Dublin City University in Aviation Management and also holds a diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.

Gareth joined Goshawk in October 2017 as Legal Counsel. Gareth trained and worked with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors for four years gaining experience in a number of areas including debt capital markets, corporate borrowing, taxation and aviation finance and leasing. During this time, he was seconded to Standard Chartered Bank Aviation Finance (Pembroke Capital Limited) as in-house legal counsel between April 2016 and September 2016.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin.

Gareth joined Goshawk in September 2019 as a Contract Manager. Prior to joining, he worked in the Maples Group for 9 years as a non-executive director on a large portfolio of asset finance and structured finance companies. Earlier in his career, he worked for Citigroup in Dublin.

Gareth has a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University.

Gillian began working with Goshawk on secondment with the Finance team in June 2019, before officially joining the company in March 2020 as part of the Managed Asset Services team.  Her responsibilities include the management of the ABS portfolios and other managed assets within the company.

Prior to Goshawk, Gillian was a Manager on the Grant Thornton Aviation Advisory team where she was involved in a number of engagements including the development of an aircraft pricing model, data quality audits and various other consulting projects with aircraft lessors.

Gillian is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), having undertaken her training contract while working at Deloitte. Gillian holds a BComm in Accounting, minoring in BUEC and Law, from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Graeme joined Goshawk in 2016 as Legal Counsel and is responsible for negotiating, structuring and project managing a wide range of transaction types including aircraft financing, operating leasing, restructuring and trading.

Before joining Goshawk, Graeme spent over six years training and working with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors. Four of those years were spent practicing as a solicitor in the aviation finance and leasing department. During this time, he acted for a number of lessors, financial institutions, export credit agencies and airlines and advised on numerous aspects of aircraft finance and leasing.

Graeme has also worked on secondment as in-house legal counsel for Pembroke Capital Limited (Standard Chartered Bank) between August 2015 and January 2016.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin.

Helen joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management team in November 2019 with a focus on technical procurement and materials management.

Before joining Goshawk, Helen was Head of Engineering Procurement at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where she and her team were responsible for the negotiation of key equipment and maintenance contracts. Prior to Virgin, Helen spent 10 years as a procurement professional working on a number of international oil and gas projects.

Helen holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.

James joined Goshawk as part of their acquisition of SKY Aviation Leasing International Limited in September 2018. He worked within SKY’s finance department for almost two years.

Prior to joining SKY, James worked within KPMG Dublin’s Consumer and Industrial Market’s audit department. During his four years there he trained and qualified as an ACA accountant prior to working as a qualified senior for a year.

James holds and BA in Economics from UCD and completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting in DCU subsequent to the BA.

Jason joined Goshawk in April 2018 managing credit risk for Asian airlines. Prior to joining, Jason spent 5 years in Risk management with Transportation Partners, an operating lessor in Singapore. Prior to that, he worked at OCBC Bank in Singapore with responsibilities in Credit Risk Management and Corporate Banking for transportation clients, including airlines.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Oregon State University, and an MBA from University of Phoenix.

Jo joined Goshawk Treasury in July 2018. Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in KPMG Nottingham and has over 10 years’ experience in a variety of Finance and Treasury roles, including both Group Financial Accountant and Treasury Accountant for FTSE 100 company Experian plc. Most recently, Jo was part of the Financial Accounting Advisory team in Grant Thornton where she gained a variety of technical accounting experience across multiple industries, including aircraft leasing

Jo holds a Bachelor in Business (hons) from Durham University and has also completed the Certificate in International Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

John joined Goshawk in February 2020 as part of Managed Assets Services.  Before joining Goshawk, John most recently worked with Canyon CTS, where he was responsible for the provision of Managing Agent services across several Asset Backed Security transactions.  Prior to that, John worked as Financial Controller with Elix Aviation Capital.

John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from National University of Ireland, Galway.

Jon joined Goshawk in May 2019 as a Credit Analyst focusing on Scandinavia and the Americas.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Jon spent over 2 years in EY’s Transaction Advisory department in Dublin where he specialised in providing financial and commercial due diligence services to clients in the aircraft leasing and banking sectors. Jon previously worked with KPMG’s Deal Advisory team in New York City, focusing on M&A transaction structuring and financial due diligence across the financial services industry.

Jon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY and holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin.

Jonathan joined Goshawk in January 2017 as part of the Treasury team. He has vast experience in aircraft leasing and finance, particularly in debt management and restructuring, interest rate hedging, FX management, aircraft deliveries, liquidity management, financial compliance and setting up new treasury platforms.

Jonathan received a MSc in Investment, Treasury & Banking from Dublin City University.

Joseph Ward is Sales/Marketing EMEA at Goshaw prior to joining the team he headed up Sales/Marketing EMEA and Americas for Asia Aviation Capital.

He currently holds an MBA from Dublin Business School and is also a qualified lawyer that was admitted to the role of Solicitors for England and Wales.

Joseph brings strong commercial management experience through his dealing with a wide range of Airlines, Investors, Banks, Lessors and OEMs having focused on all aspects of leased aircraft, trading and debt.

Julian joined Goshawk with 30 years of aviation experience. Prior to joining, Julian worked as a technical consultant for a couple of leasing companies and a start-up Hong Kong airline. Julian is based in Goshawk’s Hong Kong office and manages the company’s technical assets in the Asia Region.

His career in aviation commenced at Provincetown Boston Airlines and United Airlines in their shop and line maintenance divisions respectively. Julian then embarked on a long career in various technical sections within the Engineering Department of Cathay Pacific Airways.

Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Saint Louis University (USA) and is a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Aircraft Division). He also holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

Julie joined Goshawk in September 2018.

Justin joined Goshawk in May 2018 on the Business Analysis team with responsibility for the pricing, structuring, and evaluation of commercial and corporate finance opportunities including sale & leaseback transactions, aircraft trading, and debt raising.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Justin worked as a consultant actuary with PwC where his role involved the provision of actuarial audit and advisory services to insurance companies and banks.

Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies from University College Dublin. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Kaiori is responsible for sourcing and structuring aircraft lease transactions with airlines in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her focus is on originating: sale and leaseback opportunities, used aircraft placements for aircraft in Goshawk’s existing fleet, new aircraft placements for Goshawk’s aircraft order with Airbus and Boeing and other ad-hoc transactions.

Kaiori has over six years leasing experience having spent three years with AWAS prior to joining Goshawk, where her responsibilities included the strategic and financial planning of the company and the financial evaluation of aircraft acquisitions, sales and transitions.

Kaiori began her career in KPMG where she managed audit and advisory engagements for a number of Irish PLCs.Kaiori is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin.

Kate joined the Finance team in June 2016. Prior to joining Goshawk, Kate worked at Standard Chartered Aviation where she gained experience in a number of roles in the Finance department.

Katie joined the Finance team in February 2019. Prior to joining Goshawk, Katie spent five years as part of the Accounting Advisory department at CrossCountry Consulting in Washington D.C. where she was a Managing Consultant.

Katie is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA), having completed her training in KPMG Dublin as part of the Consumer Industrial Markets Audit department. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting from University College Cork

Katie joined Goshawk in July 2019 as Legal Counsel. Before joining Goshawk, Katie trained and worked with Matheson Solicitors for six years, gaining experience in a number of areas including aviation finance and leasing, commercial litigation, international business, corporate lending and borrowing and commercial real estate. During this time, Katie also worked on secondment in AWAS as in-house legal counsel between 2013 and 2014.

Katie is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a Bachelor of Law Degree (BCL) and a Masters in International Business Law (LLM) from Maynooth University.

Katy joined the Goshawk Finance Team in August 2017 with over 5 years aviation experience. Previously, she held the role of Finance Manager at Avolon. Her career in finance started at Bank of Ireland, where she joined originally on the Group’s Graduate Programme.

Katy is ACCA qualified and holds a diploma in Corporate Finance.

Kelli-Ann joined Goshawk in September 2015 to lead the development of the Goshawk operating platform, processes and systems. She oversees a number of areas including, Contract Management, Deliveries, Insurances, Branding and Communications, Risk, IT & Facilities Management.

Kelli-Ann has over ten years’ aircraft leasing experience. As Head of Transaction Management in RBS Aviation Capital, she was responsible for building and managing the Deliveries and Funding and Contract Management teams.

Kevin joined Goshawk’s Treasury team in April 2018, primarily focusing on interest rate and foreign exchange risk management. He has over 20 years’ experience across the financial and aircraft leasing sectors.

Prior to joining Goshawk Kevin held various consulting and senior finance and treasury related roles in the banking sector.

Kevin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Limerick and a Masters in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School.

Kieran joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management team in November 2019.

Prior to joining, Kieran has had an extensive career in various roles dealing with the management of maintenance with Aer Lingus and more recently as a Technical Consultant on assignment to GECAS.

Kieran holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University, London and a Masters in Business from the University of Limerick.

Konrad has over ten years’ experience in the aviation industry. In his previous role at SMBC Aviation Capital, he was primarily responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of risk models. He also served as an internal appraiser and was responsible for management and shareholder reporting.

Konrad was involved in the successful sale of RBS Aviation Capital to SMFG and Sumitomo Corp in 2012 and the acquisition of Sumisho Aircraft Asset Management and Sumitomo Mitsui Aviation Capital by SMBC Aviation Capital in 2013.

Konrad holds a Masters in Statistics and Economics from Warsaw School of Economics, as well as an MBA from University College Dublin. He is an ISTAT Appraiser Candidate.

Laura joined the Business Analysis team in April 2019.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Laura spent 5 years working as an actuary in the insurance industry. Laura held previous roles with both Prudential International Assurance and Irish Life where her responsibilities included risk management, asset valuation and actuarial services.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Lauren joined Goshawk on the Graduate Programme in June 2019. Lauren will be working on the Strategy team for 9 months.

Lauren has recently completed the BSc. Economics and Finance in UCD, in which she spent her third year completing an Aviation Finance internship in PwC.

Leona is responsible for the Operations and Office Management of Goshawk. She has over 10 years’ experience in office management, supporting executives and managing projects and events in both Ireland and Australia.

Leona joined from Lone Star where she supported the three Managing Directors of Asset Management & Legal. Prior to working with Lone Star she lived in Australia where she worked in various Office & Events Management & Legal roles.

Leona holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Law Society of Ireland.

Louise joined Goshawk in June 2016 as Legal Counsel with five years’ transactional experience in aircraft leasing, banking and finance including two and a half years with Elix Aviation Capital and a project with the former RBS Aviation Capital.

Louise is a dual-qualified lawyer in Ireland and New York and has a degree in Common and Civil Law with Hispanic Studies from Queen’s University, Belfast.

Martin’s role is focused on the technical management of the Group’s aircraft, both owned and managed. Working in aviation for over 28 years, Martin began his career as an engineer with Shannon Aerospace in 1990.

Over the last 17 years, he has worked with several aircraft leasing companies, including BBAM, RBS & MCAP and more recently with NAC as VP Technical.

Martin joined Goshawk in October 2017. Martin is responsible for technical management of his assigned fleet.

Martin began his career in Aviation with Shannon Aerospace as an Aviation Maintenance Technician in 1990. For many years he has worked as a consultant for various Aircraft Leasing Companies. Prior to joining Goshawk, Martin worked as an Asset Manager with NAC.

Matthew joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in April 2016. In 2019 he transitioned into the Credit Risk department. Prior to joining, he worked at Jetstar Airways based in Singapore and Australia.

Matthew holds a Master in Business Internationalisation and a Business Degree specialising in Economics and Finance from Waterford Institute of Technology.

Mengying joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in December 2018. Prior to joining Goshawk, she most recently worked in SMBC Aviation Capital as a Contract Data Manager.

During her bachelor degree she studied Electronic Engineering and she also holds a MSc in Aviation Finance from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, UCD.

Michelle joined Goshawk in August 2016 having worked in senior HR roles across a number of sectors including retail, professional services and financial services.

Michelle is responsible for the HR function in Goshawk.

She holds a BSocSc from UCD and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management from National College of Ireland.

Ming has over 20 years’ aviation experience in both the airline and leasing industries. Working with China Eastern for more than eleven years, he progressed from taking responsibility for aircraft financing to overall financial control and planning within the company.

Ming joined GECAS in 2004 where he was primarily responsible for originating leasing and trading transactions with Chinese airlines and financial institutions.

Miriam joined the Treasury team in May 2016. She has over 10 years treasury experience across different roles. Prior to joining Goshawk, Miriam worked in Bank of America as part of the Managed Treasury Liquidity Services team providing outsourced treasury functions such as daily cash and liquidity management, netting, FX trading and hedging programs.

Miriam is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce(International) with German from UCD.

Molly joined Goshawk in October 2017. Prior to joining, she worked in Human Resources consultancy for Irish SMEs. She holds a BA from University College Dublin and is CIPD qualified.

At Goshawk, Molly supports the HR function across the business, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, and employee engagement.

Naomi joined the Goshawk Finance Team in June 2019.  Prior to joining Goshawk, Naomi gained fourteen years’ experience in the Financial Services sector, where she held a number of Finance and Treasury roles.

Naomi is a Chartered Accountant, having trained and qualified in Deloitte.   Naomi holds a Masters in Accounting, is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute.

Norah joined the Goshawk Finance Team in September 2019. She has over 7 years’ experience in previous Accounts Payable roles.

Norah is responsible for all Accounts Payable activities including the efficient and timely processing of invoices, process improvements, month end activities and reporting. Norah is the point of contact for supplier queries throughout the year.

Panos started his career in aviation as a trainee at GA Telesis in the United States specialising in non-destructive and mechanical testing for aircraft components as well as in aircraft leasing. He subsequently worked for Montrose Global, a regional aircraft leasing company originally owned by Bank of America in London. In January 2018, Panos joined the Business Analysis support team of Goshawk in Hong Kong.

Panos holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering both from Imperial College London.

Paul joined Goshawk in July 2018 as IT Manager with over 18 years’ experience designing, implementing and managing enterprise data centre systems, networks and applications.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Paul was Head of IT in a UK Government body. Paul has previously held a number of management and senior technical IT engineering roles in both the UK private and public sectors.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Ulster and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Paul joined Goshawk in March 2020. Prior to joining, Paul held the position of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Ryanair and Assistant Vice President Finance at FPG Amentum. Paul is a qualified accountant and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance.

Paul joined Goshawk in June 2018 from ORIX Aviation where he was Director, Group Accounting & Treasury. Prior to that he held a number of senior Finance roles in Banking and Wealth Management. He trained and qualified with KPMG before going on to become a manager in their Financial Services Audit practice, working with clients in Aviation Finance, Banking and Asset Management.

Peter joined Goshawk in 2015 from Avolon. After he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2001, he spent ten years in private practice and was based both in London and the Middle East. Throughout this period, Peter specialised in asset financing (with a particular emphasis on aircraft) and leasing work.

Over the course of his private practice career he acted for a number of banks, lessors, airlines and export credit agencies. In 2011 Peter joined Avolon’s legal team where he was involved in a wide range of aircraft leasing, sale and financing transactions (including capital market, ECA and Ex-Im financings) and Avolon’s manufacturer orders.

Peter became Chief Commercial Officer of Goshawk in April 2015. He has over 20 years of aviation experience in the airline and leasing industries.

Peter joined Freshfields in 1996 before moving to British Airways in 2000 where he went on to run the aircraft finance and trading team. In November 2005, he joined Allco Finance Group where he was responsible for originating and structuring aircraft leasing transactions. He subsequently spent a year with Hong Kong Aviation Capital following its purchase of the Allco aviation division before joining Investec in May 2011.

Peter is a qualified solicitor.

Philip joined the Tax team in January 2018. For the previous six years, he specialised in providing tax advisory services in the aviation sector in the Financial Services Tax department in KPMG, working as Tax Manager for the last two and a half years.

Philip holds a Bachelor in Common Law and a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Corporate Finance from University College Cork and a Master of Accounting from the Michael Smurfit Business School University College Dublin. He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute.

Robert joined Goshawk in June 2016 as Credit Analyst focusing on EMEA and the Americas.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Robert led Investec Bank’s pan-European airlines and aviation equity research. Before that, he held positions with Aer Lingus, Cowen and Company and State Street Global Advisors (formerly Bank of Ireland Asset Management).

Ruth has been working in aviation for almost 20 years in a variety of senior financial roles with both established and start-up aircraft leasing enterprises.

A founding member of RBS Aviation Capital (“RBSAC”), she held a number of executive roles in the company. These included Head of Investor Markets (with the global responsibility for aircraft trading, debt syndication and sourcing financing) and Head of Risk and Strategy. She was part of the founding team of Goshawk which was established in 2013 and became CEO of the business in 2015.

Ruth is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCD and a Masters in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School.

Sandy joined Goshawk in August 2019 as Office Manager and is responsible for office operations in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Sandy worked for PwC Hong Kong. With over eight years’ experience in general administration, event planning and project management – Sandy was responsible for the overseeing of daily operations at their Executive Conference Centre. She also led on the upskilling of internal teams, through the facilitation of various learning and development courses. In addition, Sandy has a background in customer service. This included ten years at Cathay Pacific Airways, in a client facing role.

Sandy is currently working towards a BA in Business Management and holds an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Administration and Governance, with distinction.

Sarah joined Goshawk in September 2018 as a member of the Operations Team. She has over 8 years’ experience in customer facing roles and training and development within the aviation and corporate environment.

Sarah worked with Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi, New York and Dublin and held roles in Guest Services, Operations and Aviation Health Training. She then moved into the corporate environment as a Client Receptionist in Arthur Cox.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University and a Professional Diploma in Management from Dublin Business School.

Seán joined the Business Analysis team at Goshawk in September 2019. His responsibilities include analyzing and pricing commercial deals including aircraft acquisitions, sales and remarketing along with debt raises.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Seán spent 3 years in EY as a senior manager in the aviation assurance team where he provided audit and advisory services to clients in the aircraft leasing industry.

Sean joined the Goshawk Finance team in May 2018 from EY where he had worked primarily with clients in aircraft leasing, banking and capital markets.

Sean is also a qualified accountant (ACA), having completed his training contract in the Aircraft Leasing and Banking Audit department of EY.

Stephen has responsibility for Goshawk’s debt-capital-raising and corporate finance activities and was promoted to Head of Corporate Finance in October 2017. With 14 years’ aviation and financing experience, he has previously worked for HSBC Bank plc, Bank of Ireland and Deloitte. Most recently, Stephen spent a number of years establishing HSBC’s aviation business in Ireland, dealing with lessors across the entire capital markets spectrum.

Stephen has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Business Studies, both from University College Cork.

Stephen is responsible for structuring and evaluating commercial opportunities in both trading and sale-leaseback acquisitions with Goshawk, as well as aircraft transitions and disposals.He joins Goshawk following 2 years originating aircraft acquisition, financing and remarketing opportunities in the EMA region at SKY Leasing.

Prior to SKY, Stephen led the Group Finance and Leasing function at ASL Aviation Group, financing 40+ aircraft and was responsible for the financial evaluation of aircraft acquisitions, freighter conversions, sales and transitions. Stephen started his career at KPMG where he worked in the M&A and Aviation Advisory/Audit teams collaborating with many of the leading names in the leasing sector on project and seconded engagements.

He is an Irish qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has both a degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin and a Masters in Accounting (MAcc) from the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School.

Stephen joined the Business Analysis team in August 2018. Prior to joining Goshawk, Stephen spent 4 years with HSBC Global Asset Management, in London, as Head of Client Planning and Analytics providing insights for the Global Banking Key Clients. Previous to this, he spent 2 years with the Corporate Banking team in HSBC, Dublin and also completed the AIB graduate programme.

Susan joined the Goshawk Finance team in August 2019. Prior to joining Goshawk, Susan spent 2 years as Finance Manager at Techspace in London, a real estate company that provides flexible workspaces for technology start-ups.

Susan is a qualified accountant (ACA), having undertaken her training contract while working at PwC. Susan holds a BA in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.

Tamara joined Goshawk in September 2015 as Office Manager. In April 2018, she moved into the Technical Asset Management team with a focus on the technical database management specialising in Leasepoint, My Boeing Fleet, Airbus World as well as inspection scheduling.

Tamara has over 20 years’ experience in managing projects and supporting executives in the Aviation, IT and Finance sector in Ireland and Germany and joined from Alexion where she supported the EVP Global Operations. Prior to working with Alexion, she worked at AWAS, supporting the COO.

Tamara holds a Diploma in Office Management, a Certificate in Business Studies from the Open University, a Certificate in Business Systems Analysis from the National College of Ireland and a Certificate in Aircraft Acquisition and Finance from IT Carlow.

Thomas joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management department in July 2018.

Thomas spent 10 years in ASL Airlines Ireland (formerly Air Contractors), holding several roles, the last of which was as Technical Services Manager where in addition to leading the technical services, planning, technical records and library teams he was responsible for the continuing airworthiness function within the airline. Throughout his time with ASL, Thomas managed multiple aircraft transitions to the fleet including cargo conversions and passenger reconfigurations.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Thomas worked with Ping An Aircraft Leasing in Technical Asset Management where he was responsible for the technical management of the owned and managed fleet.

Thomas holds a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering in addition to a Specialist Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Management from DIT.

Thomas Phelan joined the Technical Asset Management department in July 2018.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Thomas spent 6 years with Engine Lease Finance Corporation in Shannon working with the Technical Department, responsible for the management of engine assets for the EMEA team and also project managing various projects.

Trish has responsibility for the Contract Management team which is key in building the relationship with our airline customers, protecting Goshawk’s interests, and supporting the company as it grows.

Before Goshawk, Trish worked for Investec as part of their global aviation team, and has also worked for EY in Risk Advisory and with the UK financial regulator supervising major US investment banking groups.

Trish has a degree in Management Science & Information Systems Studies from Trinity College Dublin.

Warren has over 18 years’ experience working in the aviation industry. Warren worked in Ryanair before moving onto Cityjet in 2004.

Prior to joining Goshawk Warren was the Head of Technical Planning and Maintenance Records managing a team of 10 people along with being a Form 4 holder. Warren was responsible for all aircraft coming into Cityjet from a technical stand point, as well has handing back aircraft at lease end and has handled over 50 aircraft transactions.

Warren is currently studying for an MSc in Aviation Management and holds a Part-M and Part -145 diplomas.

Wei Siong joined Goshawk in January 2019 and is responsible for Goshawk’s debt-capital-raising and corporate finance activities.

With more than ten years of experience in aviation and banking, Wei Siong has worked for Asia Aviation Capital, ING Bank, Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse in corporate finance, aircraft leasing, aviation finance, relationship management and information technology roles.

Wei Siong has passed all three levels of the CFA Program and holds a Bachelor of Computing.

Wui Jin joined Goshawk in May 2018 with more than 15 years of aviation and financing experience.

Before joining Goshawk, Wui Jin was the Head of Aviation, Asia Pacific at Natixis, providing financing solutions for airlines and aircraft lessors in the region. In addition, Wui Jin has worked at Hong Kong Aviation Capital / Avolon, AWAS, RBS Aviation Capital and Freshfields in various roles ranging from corporate finance to legal.

Wui Jin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds an MSc in Economics (University of London) and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Oxford).

Prior to joining Goshawk, Álvaro held a Vice-President position with DVB Bank covering the EMEA region and before that was a founding member of the Structured and Corporate Finance team of International Airlines Group created after the merger between British Airways and Iberia.

Álvaro is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law by Universidad Autónoma in Madrid and is a Spanish Qualified Lawyer and a Member of the Colégio de Abogados de Madrid (Legal Bar Association of Madrid).

Aman joined Goshawk team in May 2018 with more than 18 years of experience in aviation sales, marketing, leasing and strategic planning field.

In his current position, Aman is responsible for originating aircraft sale-and-leaseback, placement opportunities and lease management from our Hong Kong office covering Asia-Pacific Airlines.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Aman worked for Bombardier and Saint-Gobain in various roles in Sales and marketing leadership with experience across Asia, Europe, Middle- East, Africa and North America.

Aman is a graduate from the Schulich School of Business; York University – Canada, where he earned his MBA with specialization in International Business and Strategic Management. In addition, he holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the NIT Kurukshetra, India.

Amanda joined the Finance team in Goshawk in November 2016. Prior to joining, Amanda spent 4 years in PwC, specialising in the aviation leasing and banking industries.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance, a Master of Arts (Hons) in Accounting, and is a Member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Amy Torrie

Deliveries and Insurance

Amy joined Goshawk in May 2018 as a member of the operations team, primarily responsible for Deliveries and Insurance.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Amy spent 1 year with Accipiter, working as a Contract Manager. Before that, Amy held a position with AWAS as an Insurance Manager.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick.

Amy-Jane O'Reilly

Finance

Amy-Jane joined Goshawk as a Financial Accountant in September 2018. Prior to joining, Amy-Jane worked as a Financial Accountant with Sky Leasing.

Amy-Jane is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA), having completed her training contract in Grant Thornton’s recovery and reorganisation department. After qualifying, she joined Grant Thornton’s aviation advisory department and completed a Diploma in Aviation Finance and Leasing in the Law Society of Ireland.

Andrew Synnott

Financial Planning and Analysis

Andrew joined the Goshawk team in October 2019 and works in FP&A where he has responsibility for strategic and financial planning activities. Prior to joining Goshawk, Andrew spent 5 years at Avolon, where he filled a number of roles including Liabilities Manager, Credit Risk Analyst and Investor Relations.

A member of Chartered Accounts Ireland, Andrew qualified with KPMG in Dublin and holds a Masters of Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD.

Andy Carlisle

Chief Industry Affairs

Andy has 40 years experience in the aviation industry, having started his career as an avionics engineer. For the past 30 years he has worked in aircraft leasing in both Technical and Marketing roles with GPA, GECAS, Magellan Air, RBS Aviation Capital, Investec Bank and Goshawk.

Andy built up technical teams from scratch in Magellan, RBS and Investec as well as Goshawk and was responsible for major purchase programmes of new aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer and ATR.

Andy is an ISTAT Certified Senior Aircraft Appraiser and examiner. He is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Wings Club.

Austin Kenny

Business Analysis

Austin joined the Business Analysis team in June 2018 and his responsibilities include analysing, structuring and pricing transactions originated by the commercial team and supporting corporate finance debt raising activities.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Austin spent 5 years at Milestone Aviation Group, where he most recently held the position of Financial Controller. Previously Austin was Retail UK Finance Manager at Bank of Ireland and Assistant Manager at EY, where he provided audit and advisory services to clients in the aircraft leasing, asset management and banking sectors.

Austin is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder, and has a Master of Accounting degree from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Brendan Heneghan

Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

Brendan joined the Goshawk team in October 2018 and has responsibility for FP&A activities. Prior to joining Goshawk, Brendan filled a number of senior finance and commercial roles over a ten year period in the Irish utility, ESB – including Group Reporting Manager and Head of Credit Rating and Investor Relations.

A fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA), Brendan qualified with KPMG in Dublin and holds a Masters of Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD.

Carina Ryan

Head of Trading

Carina oversees aircraft trading at Goshawk which includes the origination of aircraft divestment and investment opportunities, as well as assisting with the overall portfolio management strategy for the business. Carina joined Goshawk from AWAS in 2015 where, during her 9 years, she held several key roles in the commercial department including and most recently, Vice President of Aircraft Trading. Carina began her aviation career with CIT Aerospace, supporting the Managing Director and the EMEA sales team.

Carina holds an MBA from The Michael Smurfit School of Business University College Dublin as well as a Marketing Degree from the Marketing Institute of Ireland. She is also a Director of ORBIS Ireland, a charity striving to eliminate avoidable blindness in Southern Ethiopia.

Caroline Rodriguez

Operations

Caroline joined the Goshawk Operations Team in September 2018. Before joining Goshawk, Caroline worked as Office Manager with Sky Leasing.

Prior to Sky Leasing, Caroline began her career in New York City focusing on Human Resources & Event Management.

Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dublin Institute of Technology with an emphasis on Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Christian Klinkenberg

Equity Origination

Christian joined the Goshawk team in January 2019 and has responsibility for Goshawk’s equity origination and corporate finance activities.

With 14 years’ aviation and corporate finance experience, he has worked for Stellwagen Group, Goodbody, Raglan Capital and PwC. Prior to joining Goshawk, Christian was Vice-President at Seraph Aviation Services, where he provided aircraft origination, management and financing services to family office and institutional equity investors.

Christian is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Christine Obrycki

Sales & Marketing, Americas

Based in the US, Christine joined Goshawk in 2016 is responsible for developing and managing airline relationships and marketing initiatives for the Americas. Prior to joining Goshawk, Christine held various marketing positions at CIT Aerospace, where her focus was on lessee relationships, lease negotiation and contract administration.

Christine earned both Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a commercial pilot’s license.

Ciara McNestry

Head of Operations

Ciara joined Goshawk in October 2019 as Head of Operations, with responsibilities for document management, facilities management, event management, branding & communications, and IT & Operations projects.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Ciara spent 10 years working in banking in London, leading and delivering a broad range of projects and programmes related to strategic business change, IT infrastructure, cost efficiency, operations, regulation, and customer experience. Ciara began her career as a consultant with First Derivatives, and also worked at RBS and HSBC.

Ciara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.

Colin Golden

Chief Financial Officer

Colin joined Goshawk in March 2018 with over 25 years’ experience having worked for two leasing companies, two banks and two of the Big 4 accounting firms. He has leadership experience of a dual track IPO / private sale process as CFO of Milestone Aviation which was successfully sold to GECAS in 2015. He worked for GECAS until 2018 when he joined Goshawk as CFO. Colin has capital markets/funding experience having raised more than $4bn in debt through public bonds, private placements and bank/institutional debt.

Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and subsequently worked with PwC. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Accounting degrees from UCD.

Conor O’Byrne

Head of Tax

Conor joined Goshawk in December 2019 as Head of Tax. Before joining Goshawk, Conor was a Director with KPMG with over 10 years’ experience advising aircraft lessors, financial institutions and airlines.

Conor is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Damian Howley

Head of Treasury

Damian joined Goshawk in January 2017. He has over 12 years’ experience in the financial and aviation sectors.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Damian served as the Deputy Treasurer for Ryanair. During his time with Ryanair, Damian financed over 80 aircraft, managed the FX and Interest rate risk exposures of the business, the company’s circa $4bn cash position and the company’s Ex-Im, JOLCO and public bond financing.

Damian previously worked with KBC Bank where he advised corporates on Interest rate and FX hedging. He holds a degree in Financial Mathematics from NUI Galway and a certificate in Corporate Treasury from DCU.

Daniel Claffey

Technical Asset Management

Daniel Claffey joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management department in April 2016.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Daniel worked with Engine Lease Finance Corporation as a Powerplant Engineer. He was responsible for the technical management of engine assets throughout the lease term and project managing numerous special projects.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast.

Daniel Ryan

Legal Counsel

Daniel joined Goshawk in July 2019 as Legal Counsel.   Before joining Goshawk, Daniel spent six years training and working with Matheson solicitors where he gained experience in a number of areas including finance and capital markets, corporate lending and borrowing, real estate finance and international taxation. During this time, he also worked on secondment in the firm’s New York office and as in-house legal counsel at Google.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Law (LLB) from Trinity College Dublin.

David Mitchell

Trading

David is a member of the Goshawk trading team, covering the origination of aircraft investment and sale opportunities, as well as assisting with the implementation of portfolio management strategy for the business.

Previously, David was a member of Goshawk’s Commercial and Corporate Finance team, with responsibility for the pricing, structuring, and evaluation of commercial and corporate finance opportunities, including sale & leaseback transactions, aircraft trading, and debt raising. Prior to joining Goshawk, David spent 5 years with MUFG, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in London, responsible for the distribution of corporate loans, project/structured finance and derivative exposure across the EMEA region. David previously spent 4 years in Leveraged/Acquisition Finance with AIB in Dublin and London.

David has a BA in Economics from University College Dublin, a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from UCD Smurfit School, and a Master’s Degree in Risk and Asset Management from EDHEC Business School, France. In addition, he is a Level 3 candidate for the CFA programme.

David Odlum

Head of Risk

David is the Head of Risk at Goshawk, which incorporates the airline credit risk function globally. He has over 20 years’ experience in the financial and aircraft leasing sectors, and previously worked at SMBC Aviation Capital and NCB Stockbrokers (now owned by Investec).

David is a qualified accountant and holds an MSc in Finance from Imperial College, London, and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance (BBS) from Trinity College.

David Rogers

Technical Asset Management

Joined Goshawk working in Technical Asset Management in 2018.

27 years’ experience in the Aircraft industry starting as a Licensed Engineer, progressing through the Aviation services industry to the aircraft Leasing Sector.

Prior to Goshawk worked at Shannon Aerospace, CAE Parc Aviation and Direct Aero Services supporting the Maintenance organisations, Lessors, Airlines and Operators.

Deirdre Quinlan

Treasury

Deirdre joined the Treasury team in Goshawk in March 2018.

Deirdre has over 19 years’ experience working in Finance and Aircraft leasing. Most recently, Deirdre worked in Treasury in Aercap, where she was responsible for the funding and execution of cash settlement for aircraft deliveries, daily cash and liquidity management and FX trading.

Edel Brennan

Corporate Finance

Edel has over eleven years’ experience in the aviation leasing industry and spent over six years in KPMG specialising in aviation leasing and banking before joined Intrepid Aviation as Financial Controller Ireland. Initially, Edel joined Goshawk as Financial Accountant and was promoted to Head of Business Analysis in October 2017.

Edel holds a Masters in Accounting and is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Elaine Kane

Insurance

Elaine joined Goshawk in November 2019 and is mainly responsible for insurance at Goshawk.

Prior to joining Goshawk Elaine was Contracts Manager at DAE and AWAS and before that held a position of AVP with Bank of America Leasing Ireland. Elaine also worked at Cityjet for over 12 years where she gained broad experience in a range of roles in accounting, fleet and insurance.

Elaine holds a BA in Law and has also completed a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance with the Law Society of Ireland.

Ellen Sherry

Operations

Ellen is a member of the operations team and is primarily responsible for brand marketing and communications, property projects and the CRM system. She has been involved in a number of strategic and operations projects including systems projects across treasury and contract management, developing our new website and our office move projects in Dublin and Hong Kong.

Before joining Goshawk in 2016, Ellen worked in the Public Relations team for L’Oréal Luxe. Ellen holds a Masters in Business Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from University College Dublin.

Emma Jones

Finance

Emma joined the Finance team in November 2019.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Emma spent 3 years at PwC working in Foreign Direct Investment Assurance.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Business and Law from University College Dublin, a Master of Accounting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and is a Chartered Accountant.

Emmet McCourt

Technical Asset Management

Emmet has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry working in a wide variety of roles. Prior to joining Goshawk Emmet worked for Santos Dumont LTD in the dual role of Technical project manager with responsibility for Aircraft redelivery management and Head of Airworthiness for CAMO services.

Emmet’s other career roles include Boeing 737 Fleet principal Engineer in the Technical Services department of ASL Airlines Ireland, Maintenance Controller for Ryanair and Gas Turbine powerplant Engineer Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland.

Eoin Connaughton

Business Analysis

Eoin joined Goshawk in October 2019 on the Business Analysis team. His responsibilities include analysing and pricing commercial deals including aircraft acquisitions, sales and remarketing, along with debt raises.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Eoin has over 10 years’ experience working in the financial services sector with companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Most recently Eoin was the Valuation Control analyst with Standard Chartered Bank as part of the Aviation Finance team. Prior to this, Eoin worked with Pepper Asset Servicing where he worked as an Investment and Valuation Analyst where he assisted portfolio management, strategy and pricing.

Eoin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science and a Professional Diploma in Data Analytics, both from University College Dublin. He is an Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Ernest Furey

Contract Management

Ernest joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in July 2019. Before joining Goshawk, Ernest worked at Elix Aviation Capital within the Asset Management department, where his responsibilities encompassed maintenance forecasting, aircraft transaction evaluation and upkeep of the asset management system. Prior to that, Ernest worked as a Fraud Analyst in Ryanair, focusing on the prevention of ticket purchases using stolen credit cards details.

Ernest received his B.Sc. from Dublin City University in Aviation Management and also holds a diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland.

Gareth Dunne

Legal Counsel

Gareth joined Goshawk in October 2017 as Legal Counsel. Gareth trained and worked with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors for four years gaining experience in a number of areas including debt capital markets, corporate borrowing, taxation and aviation finance and leasing. During this time, he was seconded to Standard Chartered Bank Aviation Finance (Pembroke Capital Limited) as in-house legal counsel between April 2016 and September 2016.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin.

Gareth Rowe

Contract Management

Gareth joined Goshawk in September 2019 as a Contract Manager. Prior to joining, he worked in the Maples Group for 9 years as a non-executive director on a large portfolio of asset finance and structured finance companies. Earlier in his career, he worked for Citigroup in Dublin.

Gareth has a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University.

Gillian Alexander

Managed Asset Services

Gillian began working with Goshawk on secondment with the Finance team in June 2019, before officially joining the company in March 2020 as part of the Managed Asset Services team.  Her responsibilities include the management of the ABS portfolios and other managed assets within the company.

Prior to Goshawk, Gillian was a Manager on the Grant Thornton Aviation Advisory team where she was involved in a number of engagements including the development of an aircraft pricing model, data quality audits and various other consulting projects with aircraft lessors.

Gillian is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), having undertaken her training contract while working at Deloitte. Gillian holds a BComm in Accounting, minoring in BUEC and Law, from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Graeme Hughes

Head of Transaction Legal

Graeme joined Goshawk in 2016 as Legal Counsel and is responsible for negotiating, structuring and project managing a wide range of transaction types including aircraft financing, operating leasing, restructuring and trading.

Before joining Goshawk, Graeme spent over six years training and working with McCann FitzGerald Solicitors. Four of those years were spent practicing as a solicitor in the aviation finance and leasing department. During this time, he acted for a number of lessors, financial institutions, export credit agencies and airlines and advised on numerous aspects of aircraft finance and leasing.

Graeme has also worked on secondment as in-house legal counsel for Pembroke Capital Limited (Standard Chartered Bank) between August 2015 and January 2016.

He is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin.

Helen Hennessy

Technical Procurement & Materials Management

Helen joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management team in November 2019 with a focus on technical procurement and materials management.

Before joining Goshawk, Helen was Head of Engineering Procurement at Virgin Atlantic Airways, where she and her team were responsible for the negotiation of key equipment and maintenance contracts. Prior to Virgin, Helen spent 10 years as a procurement professional working on a number of international oil and gas projects.

Helen holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.

James Caslin

Business Analysis

James joined Goshawk as part of their acquisition of SKY Aviation Leasing International Limited in September 2018. He worked within SKY’s finance department for almost two years.

Prior to joining SKY, James worked within KPMG Dublin’s Consumer and Industrial Market’s audit department. During his four years there he trained and qualified as an ACA accountant prior to working as a qualified senior for a year.

James holds and BA in Economics from UCD and completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting in DCU subsequent to the BA.

Jason Pung

Credit Risk

Jason joined Goshawk in April 2018 managing credit risk for Asian airlines. Prior to joining, Jason spent 5 years in Risk management with Transportation Partners, an operating lessor in Singapore. Prior to that, he worked at OCBC Bank in Singapore with responsibilities in Credit Risk Management and Corporate Banking for transportation clients, including airlines.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Oregon State University, and an MBA from University of Phoenix.

Joanne Gritti

Treasury

Jo joined Goshawk Treasury in July 2018. Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in KPMG Nottingham and has over 10 years’ experience in a variety of Finance and Treasury roles, including both Group Financial Accountant and Treasury Accountant for FTSE 100 company Experian plc. Most recently, Jo was part of the Financial Accounting Advisory team in Grant Thornton where she gained a variety of technical accounting experience across multiple industries, including aircraft leasing

Jo holds a Bachelor in Business (hons) from Durham University and has also completed the Certificate in International Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

John Lenfestey

Managed Asset Services

John joined Goshawk in February 2020 as part of Managed Assets Services.  Before joining Goshawk, John most recently worked with Canyon CTS, where he was responsible for the provision of Managing Agent services across several Asset Backed Security transactions.  Prior to that, John worked as Financial Controller with Elix Aviation Capital.

John is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Higher Diploma in Business Studies from National University of Ireland, Galway.

 

Jon O'Dowd

Credit Risk

Jon joined Goshawk in May 2019 as a Credit Analyst focusing on Scandinavia and the Americas.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Jon spent over 2 years in EY’s Transaction Advisory department in Dublin where he specialised in providing financial and commercial due diligence services to clients in the aircraft leasing and banking sectors. Jon previously worked with KPMG’s Deal Advisory team in New York City, focusing on M&A transaction structuring and financial due diligence across the financial services industry.

Jon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with EY and holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin.

Jonathan Linehan

Treasury

Jonathan joined Goshawk in January 2017 as part of the Treasury team. He has vast experience in aircraft leasing and finance, particularly in debt management and restructuring, interest rate hedging, FX management, aircraft deliveries, liquidity management, financial compliance and setting up new treasury platforms.

Jonathan received a MSc in Investment, Treasury & Banking from Dublin City University.

Joseph Ward

Sales & Marketing, EMEA

Joseph Ward is Sales/Marketing EMEA at Goshaw prior to joining the team he headed up Sales/Marketing EMEA and Americas for Asia Aviation Capital.

He currently holds an MBA from Dublin Business School and is also a qualified lawyer that was admitted to the role of Solicitors for England and Wales.

Joseph brings strong commercial management experience through his dealing with a wide range of Airlines, Investors, Banks, Lessors and OEMs having focused on all aspects of leased aircraft, trading and debt.

Julian Chau

Technical Asset Management

Julian joined Goshawk with 30 years of aviation experience. Prior to joining, Julian worked as a technical consultant for a couple of leasing companies and a start-up Hong Kong airline. Julian is based in Goshawk’s Hong Kong office and manages the company’s technical assets in the Asia Region.

His career in aviation commenced at Provincetown Boston Airlines and United Airlines in their shop and line maintenance divisions respectively. Julian then embarked on a long career in various technical sections within the Engineering Department of Cathay Pacific Airways.

Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Saint Louis University (USA) and is a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Aircraft Division). He also holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

Julie joined Goshawk in September 2018.

Justin Brayden

Business Analysis

Justin joined Goshawk in May 2018 on the Business Analysis team with responsibility for the pricing, structuring, and evaluation of commercial and corporate finance opportunities including sale & leaseback transactions, aircraft trading, and debt raising.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Justin worked as a consultant actuary with PwC where his role involved the provision of actuarial audit and advisory services to insurance companies and banks.

Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies from University College Dublin. He is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Kaiori Creed

Sales & Marketing, EMEA

Kaiori is responsible for sourcing and structuring aircraft lease transactions with airlines in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her focus is on originating: sale and leaseback opportunities, used aircraft placements for aircraft in Goshawk’s existing fleet, new aircraft placements for Goshawk’s aircraft order with Airbus and Boeing and other ad-hoc transactions.

Kaiori has over six years leasing experience having spent three years with AWAS prior to joining Goshawk, where her responsibilities included the strategic and financial planning of the company and the financial evaluation of aircraft acquisitions, sales and transitions.

Kaiori began her career in KPMG where she managed audit and advisory engagements for a number of Irish PLCs.Kaiori is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin.

Kate Miller

Finance

Kate joined the Finance team in June 2016. Prior to joining Goshawk, Kate worked at Standard Chartered Aviation where she gained experience in a number of roles in the Finance department.

Kate is a qualified accountant (ACA), having undertaken her training contract in the KPMG Financial Services Audit department. Kate holds a degree in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.

Katie Duggan

Finance

Katie joined the Finance team in February 2019. Prior to joining Goshawk, Katie spent five years as part of the Accounting Advisory department at CrossCountry Consulting in Washington D.C. where she was a Managing Consultant.

Katie is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA), having completed her training in KPMG Dublin as part of the Consumer Industrial Markets Audit department. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting from University College Cork

Katie Nolan

Legal Counsel

Katie joined Goshawk in July 2019 as Legal Counsel. Before joining Goshawk, Katie trained and worked with Matheson Solicitors for six years, gaining experience in a number of areas including aviation finance and leasing, commercial litigation, international business, corporate lending and borrowing and commercial real estate. During this time, Katie also worked on secondment in AWAS as in-house legal counsel between 2013 and 2014.

Katie is an Irish qualified solicitor and has a Bachelor of Law Degree (BCL) and a Masters in International Business Law (LLM) from Maynooth University.

Katy Breen

Finance

Katy joined the Goshawk Finance Team in August 2017 with over 5 years aviation experience. Previously, she held the role of Finance Manager at Avolon. Her career in finance started at Bank of Ireland, where she joined originally on the Group’s Graduate Programme.

Katy is ACCA qualified and holds a diploma in Corporate Finance.

Kelli-Ann Sweeney

Chief Operating Officer

Kelli-Ann joined Goshawk in September 2015 to lead the development of the Goshawk operating platform, processes and systems. She oversees a number of areas including, Contract Management, Deliveries, Insurances, Branding and Communications, Risk, IT & Facilities Management.

Kelli-Ann has over ten years’ aircraft leasing experience. As Head of Transaction Management in RBS Aviation Capital, she was responsible for building and managing the Deliveries and Funding and Contract Management teams.

Kevin Kelly

Treasury

Kevin joined Goshawk’s Treasury team in April 2018, primarily focusing on interest rate and foreign exchange risk management. He has over 20 years’ experience across the financial and aircraft leasing sectors.

Prior to joining Goshawk Kevin held various consulting and senior finance and treasury related roles in the banking sector.

Kevin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Limerick and a Masters in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School.

Kieran Dwyer

Technical Asset Management

Kieran joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management team in November 2019.

Prior to joining, Kieran has had an extensive career in various roles dealing with the management of maintenance with Aer Lingus and more recently as a Technical Consultant on assignment to GECAS.

Kieran holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University, London and a Masters in Business from the University of Limerick.

Konrad Blocher

Strategy & Risk

Konrad has over ten years’ experience in the aviation industry. In his previous role at SMBC Aviation Capital, he was primarily responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of risk models. He also served as an internal appraiser and was responsible for management and shareholder reporting.

Konrad was involved in the successful sale of RBS Aviation Capital to SMFG and Sumitomo Corp in 2012 and the acquisition of Sumisho Aircraft Asset Management and Sumitomo Mitsui Aviation Capital by SMBC Aviation Capital in 2013.

Konrad holds a Masters in Statistics and Economics from Warsaw School of Economics, as well as an MBA from University College Dublin. He is an ISTAT Appraiser Candidate.

Laura White

Business Analysis

Laura joined the Business Analysis team in April 2019.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Laura spent 5 years working as an actuary in the insurance industry. Laura held previous roles with both Prudential International Assurance and Irish Life where her responsibilities included risk management, asset valuation and actuarial services.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Lauren Healy

Graduate Programme - Strategy

Lauren joined Goshawk on the Graduate Programme in June 2019. Lauren will be working on the Strategy team for 9 months.

Lauren has recently completed the BSc. Economics and Finance in UCD, in which she spent her third year completing an Aviation Finance internship in PwC.

Leona Hall 

Operations - Office Management

Leona is responsible for the Operations and Office Management of Goshawk. She has over 10 years’ experience in office management, supporting executives and managing projects and events in both Ireland and Australia.

Leona joined from Lone Star where she supported the three Managing Directors of Asset Management & Legal. Prior to working with Lone Star she lived in Australia where she worked in various Office & Events Management & Legal roles.

Leona holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Law Society of Ireland.

Louise McErlean

Legal Counsel

Louise joined Goshawk in June 2016 as Legal Counsel with five years’ transactional experience in aircraft leasing, banking and finance including two and a half years with Elix Aviation Capital and a project with the former RBS Aviation Capital.

Louise is a dual-qualified lawyer in Ireland and New York and has a degree in Common and Civil Law with Hispanic Studies from Queen’s University, Belfast.

Martin Gallagher

Head of Technical Operations

Martin’s role is focused on the technical management of the Group’s aircraft, both owned and managed. Working in aviation for over 28 years, Martin began his career as an engineer with Shannon Aerospace in 1990.

Over the last 17 years, he has worked with several aircraft leasing companies, including BBAM, RBS & MCAP and more recently with NAC as VP Technical.

Martin Keavey

Technical Asset Management

Martin joined Goshawk in October 2017. Martin is responsible for technical management of his assigned fleet.

Martin began his career in Aviation with Shannon Aerospace as an Aviation Maintenance Technician in 1990. For many years he has worked as a consultant for various Aircraft Leasing Companies. Prior to joining Goshawk, Martin worked as an Asset Manager with NAC.

Matthew Gannon

Credit Risk

Matthew joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in April 2016. In 2019 he transitioned into the Credit Risk department. Prior to joining, he worked at Jetstar Airways based in Singapore and Australia.

Matthew holds a Master in Business Internationalisation and a Business Degree specialising in Economics and Finance from Waterford Institute of Technology.

Mengying Liu

Contract Management

Mengying joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in December 2018. Prior to joining Goshawk, she most recently worked in SMBC Aviation Capital as a Contract Data Manager.

During her bachelor degree she studied Electronic Engineering and she also holds a MSc in Aviation Finance from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, UCD.

 

Michela Cera

Contract Management

Michela joined Goshawk as a Contract Manager in November 2018. Prior to joining, she worked within CALC’s marketing team for four years. Earlier in her career, she held a role in international cooperation and events management for a Chinese company in Beijing.

Michela has a Master in Simultaneous Interpretation (Chinese-English-French) from Beijing Foreign Studies University as well as a Master in Governance of International Relations from Sciences Po Toulouse.

Michelle O'Reilly

Head of Human Resources

Michelle joined Goshawk in August 2016 having worked in senior HR roles across a number of sectors including retail, professional services and financial services.

Michelle is responsible for the HR function in Goshawk.

She holds a BSocSc from UCD and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management from National College of Ireland.

Ming Zhou

Sale and Marketing, China

Ming has over 20 years’ aviation experience in both the airline and leasing industries. Working with China Eastern for more than eleven years, he progressed from taking responsibility for aircraft financing to overall financial control and planning within the company.

Ming joined GECAS in 2004 where he was primarily responsible for originating leasing and trading transactions with Chinese airlines and financial institutions.

Miriam Brosnan

Treasury

Miriam joined the Treasury team in May 2016. She has over 10 years treasury experience across different roles. Prior to joining Goshawk, Miriam worked in Bank of America as part of the Managed Treasury Liquidity Services team providing outsourced treasury functions such as daily cash and liquidity management, netting, FX trading and hedging programs.

Miriam is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce(International) with German from UCD.

Molly O’Keeffe

Human Resources

Molly joined Goshawk in October 2017. Prior to joining, she worked in Human Resources consultancy for Irish SMEs. She holds a BA from University College Dublin and is CIPD qualified.

At Goshawk, Molly supports the HR function across the business, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, and employee engagement.

Murugan Palaniappan

Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific

Based in Hong Kong, Murugan joined the Goshawk team in May 2019 and is responsible for deal origination and airline relationships in Asia. Prior to joining Goshawk, Murugan has worked for Avolon and CIT Aerospace in origination roles over the last 8 years

Murugan is a graduate from Purdue University (USA) and a holds a degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

Naomi Tarrant

Finance

Naomi joined the Goshawk Finance Team in June 2019.  Prior to joining Goshawk, Naomi gained fourteen years’ experience in the Financial Services sector, where she held a number of Finance and Treasury roles.

Naomi is a Chartered Accountant, having trained and qualified in Deloitte.   Naomi holds a Masters in Accounting, is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute.

Norah Mooney

Finance

Norah joined the Goshawk Finance Team in September 2019. She has over 7 years’ experience in previous Accounts Payable roles.

Norah is responsible for all Accounts Payable activities including the efficient and timely processing of invoices, process improvements, month end activities and reporting. Norah is the point of contact for supplier queries throughout the year.

Oscely Romero

Finance

Oscely joined the Goshawk Finance team in January 2018 from Shire Pharmaceutical.

Oscely is responsible for all Accounts Payable activities including the efficient and timely processing of invoices, preparation of bank reconciliations, month end activities and reporting. Oscely is the point of contact for supplier queries throughout the year.

Panos Zacharopoulos

Business Analysis

Panos started his career in aviation as a trainee at GA Telesis in the United States specialising in non-destructive and mechanical testing for aircraft components as well as in aircraft leasing. He subsequently worked for Montrose Global, a regional aircraft leasing company originally owned by Bank of America in London. In January 2018, Panos joined the Business Analysis support team of Goshawk in Hong Kong.

Panos holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering both from Imperial College London.

Paul Hannawin

Operations - IT Management

Paul joined Goshawk in July 2018 as IT Manager with over 18 years’ experience designing, implementing and managing enterprise data centre systems, networks and applications.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Paul was Head of IT in a UK Government body. Paul has previously held a number of management and senior technical IT engineering roles in both the UK private and public sectors.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Ulster and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Paul Laszzalette

Finance

Paul joined Goshawk in March 2020. Prior to joining, Paul held the position of Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Ryanair and Assistant Vice President Finance at FPG Amentum. Paul is a qualified accountant and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance.

Paul Murphy

Head of Finance

Paul joined Goshawk in June 2018 from ORIX Aviation where he was Director, Group Accounting & Treasury. Prior to that he held a number of senior Finance roles in Banking and Wealth Management. He trained and qualified with KPMG before going on to become a manager in their Financial Services Audit practice, working with clients in Aviation Finance, Banking and Asset Management.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCD and a Master of Accounting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Peter Caley

Chief Legal Officer

Peter joined Goshawk in 2015 from Avolon. After he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2001, he spent ten years in private practice and was based both in London and the Middle East. Throughout this period, Peter specialised in asset financing (with a particular emphasis on aircraft) and leasing work.

Over the course of his private practice career he acted for a number of banks, lessors, airlines and export credit agencies. In 2011 Peter joined Avolon’s legal team where he was involved in a wide range of aircraft leasing, sale and financing transactions (including capital market, ECA and Ex-Im financings) and Avolon’s manufacturer orders.

Peter Watson

Chief Commercial Officer

Peter became Chief Commercial Officer of Goshawk in April 2015. He has over 20 years of aviation experience in the airline and leasing industries.

Peter joined Freshfields in 1996 before moving to British Airways in 2000 where he went on to run the aircraft finance and trading team. In November 2005, he joined Allco Finance Group where he was responsible for originating and structuring aircraft leasing transactions. He subsequently spent a year with Hong Kong Aviation Capital following its purchase of the Allco aviation division before joining Investec in May 2011.

Peter is a qualified solicitor.

Philip O'Reilly

Tax

Philip joined the Tax team in January 2018. For the previous six years, he specialised in providing tax advisory services in the aviation sector in the Financial Services Tax department in KPMG, working as Tax Manager for the last two and a half years.

Philip holds a Bachelor in Common Law and a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Corporate Finance from University College Cork and a Master of Accounting from the Michael Smurfit Business School University College Dublin. He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute.

Robert Murphy

Head of Business Analysis

Robert joined Goshawk in June 2016 as Credit Analyst focusing on EMEA and the Americas.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Robert led Investec Bank’s pan-European airlines and aviation equity research. Before that, he held positions with Aer Lingus, Cowen and Company and State Street Global Advisors (formerly Bank of Ireland Asset Management).

Robert is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a Masters in Finance and Capital Markets (Dublin City University) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Trinity College Dublin).

Ruth Kelly

Chief Executive Officer

Ruth has been working in aviation for almost 20 years in a variety of senior financial roles with both established and start-up aircraft leasing enterprises.

A founding member of RBS Aviation Capital (“RBSAC”), she held a number of executive roles in the company. These included Head of Investor Markets (with the global responsibility for aircraft trading, debt syndication and sourcing financing) and Head of Risk and Strategy. She was part of the founding team of Goshawk which was established in 2013 and became CEO of the business in 2015.

Ruth is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UCD and a Masters in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School.

Sandy Ko

Operations - Office Management, Hong Kong

Sandy joined Goshawk in August 2019 as Office Manager and is responsible for office operations in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Sandy worked for PwC Hong Kong. With over eight years’ experience in general administration, event planning and project management – Sandy was responsible for the overseeing of daily operations at their Executive Conference Centre. She also led on the upskilling of internal teams, through the facilitation of various learning and development courses. In addition, Sandy has a background in customer service. This included ten years at Cathay Pacific Airways, in a client facing role.

Sandy is currently working towards a BA in Business Management and holds an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Administration and Governance, with distinction.

Sarah Foy

Operations - Reception

Sarah joined Goshawk in September 2018 as a member of the Operations Team. She has over 8 years’ experience in customer facing roles and training and development within the aviation and corporate environment.

Sarah worked with Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi, New York and Dublin and held roles in Guest Services, Operations and Aviation Health Training. She then moved into the corporate environment as a Client Receptionist in Arthur Cox.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University and a Professional Diploma in Management from Dublin Business School.

Seán Leland

Business Analysis

Seán joined the Business Analysis team at Goshawk in September 2019. His responsibilities include analyzing and pricing commercial deals including aircraft acquisitions, sales and remarketing along with debt raises.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Seán spent 3 years in EY as a senior manager in the aviation assurance team where he provided audit and advisory services to clients in the aircraft leasing industry.

Seán holds a Bachelor’s of Business Studies from the University of Limerick and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Sean O'Riordan

Finance

Sean joined the Goshawk Finance team in May 2018 from EY where he had worked primarily with clients in aircraft leasing, banking and capital markets.

Sean is also a qualified accountant (ACA), having completed his training contract in the Aircraft Leasing and Banking Audit department of EY.

Stephen Murphy

Head of Corporate Finance

Stephen has responsibility for Goshawk’s debt-capital-raising and corporate finance activities and was promoted to Head of Corporate Finance in October 2017. With 14 years’ aviation and financing experience, he has previously worked for HSBC Bank plc, Bank of Ireland and Deloitte. Most recently, Stephen spent a number of years establishing HSBC’s aviation business in Ireland, dealing with lessors across the entire capital markets spectrum.

Stephen has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Business Studies, both from University College Cork.

Stephen O’Dwyer

Sales & Marketing, EMEA

Stephen is responsible for structuring and evaluating commercial opportunities in both trading and sale-leaseback acquisitions with Goshawk, as well as aircraft transitions and disposals.He joins Goshawk following 2 years originating aircraft acquisition, financing and remarketing opportunities in the EMA region at SKY Leasing.

Prior to SKY, Stephen led the Group Finance and Leasing function at ASL Aviation Group, financing 40+ aircraft and was responsible for the financial evaluation of aircraft acquisitions, freighter conversions, sales and transitions. Stephen started his career at KPMG where he worked in the M&A and Aviation Advisory/Audit teams collaborating with many of the leading names in the leasing sector on project and seconded engagements.

He is an Irish qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has both a degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin and a Masters in Accounting (MAcc) from the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School.

Stephen Verso

Business Analysis

Stephen joined the Business Analysis team in August 2018. Prior to joining Goshawk, Stephen spent 4 years with HSBC Global Asset Management, in London, as Head of Client Planning and Analytics providing insights for the Global Banking Key Clients. Previous to this, he spent 2 years with the Corporate Banking team in HSBC, Dublin and also completed the AIB graduate programme.

Stephen holds a Masters in Business Management from UCD Smurfit Business School and a Bachelor of Science from UCD. In addition, he is a CFA Level II candidate and QFA qualified.

Susan Kelleher

Finance

Susan joined the Goshawk Finance team in August 2019. Prior to joining Goshawk, Susan spent 2 years as Finance Manager at Techspace in London, a real estate company that provides flexible workspaces for technology start-ups.

Susan is a qualified accountant (ACA), having undertaken her training contract while working at PwC. Susan holds a BA in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin.

Tamara Meixner

Technical Database Management 

Tamara joined Goshawk in September 2015 as Office Manager. In April 2018, she moved into the Technical Asset Management team with a focus on the technical database management specialising in Leasepoint, My Boeing Fleet, Airbus World as well as inspection scheduling.

Tamara has over 20 years’ experience in managing projects and supporting executives in the Aviation, IT and Finance sector in Ireland and Germany and joined from Alexion where she supported the EVP Global Operations. Prior to working with Alexion, she worked at AWAS, supporting the COO.

Tamara holds a Diploma in Office Management, a Certificate in Business Studies from the Open University, a Certificate in Business Systems Analysis from the National College of Ireland and a Certificate in Aircraft Acquisition and Finance from IT Carlow.

Thomas Bambrick

Technical Asset Management

Thomas joined Goshawk’s Technical Asset Management department in July 2018.

Thomas spent 10 years in ASL Airlines Ireland (formerly Air Contractors), holding several roles, the last of which was as Technical Services Manager where in addition to leading the technical services, planning, technical records and library teams he was responsible for the continuing airworthiness function within the airline. Throughout his time with ASL, Thomas managed multiple aircraft transitions to the fleet including cargo conversions and passenger reconfigurations.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Thomas worked with Ping An Aircraft Leasing in Technical Asset Management where he was responsible for the technical management of the owned and managed fleet.

Thomas holds a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering in addition to a Specialist Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Management from DIT.

Thomas Phelan

Technical Asset Management

Thomas Phelan joined the Technical Asset Management department in July 2018.

Prior to joining Goshawk, Thomas spent 6 years with Engine Lease Finance Corporation in Shannon working with the Technical Department, responsible for the management of engine assets for the EMEA team and also project managing various projects.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Limerick.

Trish Smith

Head of Transaction Management

Trish has responsibility for the Contract Management team which is key in building the relationship with our airline customers, protecting Goshawk’s interests, and supporting the company as it grows.

Before Goshawk, Trish worked for Investec as part of their global aviation team, and has also worked for EY in Risk Advisory and with the UK financial regulator supervising major US investment banking groups.

Trish has a degree in Management Science & Information Systems Studies from Trinity College Dublin.

Warren Brennan

Technical Asset Management

Warren has over 18 years’ experience working in the aviation industry. Warren worked in Ryanair before moving onto Cityjet in 2004.

Prior to joining Goshawk Warren was the Head of Technical Planning and Maintenance Records managing a team of 10 people along with being a Form 4 holder. Warren was responsible for all aircraft coming into Cityjet from a technical stand point, as well has handing back aircraft at lease end and has handled over 50 aircraft transactions.

Warren is currently studying for an MSc in Aviation Management and holds a Part-M and Part -145 diplomas.

Wei Siong Chua

Corporate Finance

Wei Siong joined Goshawk in January 2019 and is responsible for Goshawk’s debt-capital-raising and corporate finance activities.

With more than ten years of experience in aviation and banking, Wei Siong has worked for Asia Aviation Capital, ING Bank, Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse in corporate finance, aircraft leasing, aviation finance, relationship management and information technology roles.

Wei Siong has passed all three levels of the CFA Program and holds a Bachelor of Computing.

Wui Jin Woon

Head of Asia

Wui Jin joined Goshawk in May 2018 with more than 15 years of aviation and financing experience.

Before joining Goshawk, Wui Jin was the Head of Aviation, Asia Pacific at Natixis, providing financing solutions for airlines and aircraft lessors in the region. In addition, Wui Jin has worked at Hong Kong Aviation Capital / Avolon, AWAS, RBS Aviation Capital and Freshfields in various roles ranging from corporate finance to legal.

Wui Jin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds an MSc in Economics (University of London) and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Oxford).
