Opportunity to join a dynamic leasing company in growth mode as a key member of the Commercial team.
Work with CCO and other senior executives in implementing the commercial strategy of the business.
Responsible for sourcing equity and mezzanine capital for transactions sourced by Goshawk as part of 3rd party managed portfolio.
Work closely with origination and corporate finance team to help source, arrange and manage structured opportunities.
To develop and maintain strong relationships with different sources of mezzanine and equity capital, understanding the risk and return appetite for any given transaction.
Be part of the deal team on transactions that require sell down clarity as part of large transaction underwrite .
To act as the relationship manager for equity and mezzanine investors.
To help risk team in analysing execution risk on any particular 3rd party investor.
To assist in producing internal credit papers for each transaction and work with other members of the team through each step of the deal approval process through to the closure of a transaction.
Liaise with all relevant parties both internal and external to ensure all ongoing reporting requirements are met and resolve all deal related issues on a timely basis.
Prerequisite Core Skills and Knowledge Required:
Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
Proven ability to originate capital from alternative/fixed income investors.
Relationship Management and communication skills: Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external (investors etc.) and internal Goshawk interfaces. Ability to communicate the Goshawk business to clients.
Strong organisational ability combined with a proactive approach.
To operate at all times as a team player.
Regulatory: Understand the relevant regulations surrounding clients. Understanding and knowledge of required regulations.
