Technical Asset Management

 

 

Description of role:

With other Asset and Technical Project Managers, the Asset Manager will be responsible to the Head of Technical for the performance of required Technical Management tasks:

  • Assisting with the management of deliveries, redeliveries and repossession of assets
  • Generating Technical Specifications
  • Maintenance Claim Management
  • Managing the Technical Due Diligence of Airlines including Airline Ratings.
  • Managing Maintenance Rate Escalations when due and advising the airline in a timely and professional manner
  • Asset Backed Security (ABS) Reporting and Management
  • OEM (Airbus & Boeing) Portal Management
  • Maintenance Reserve Analysis (MRA) Management
  • Monthly Utilisation Reporting management including input into Leasepoint
  • Mid-Lease and Pre-Purchase Inspection Planning & Management
  • LeasePoint population. (New Aircraft Set-Up)
  • LeasePoint Reporting
  • Records Management, including the evaluation of new systems
  • Document Management, including Department Templates
  • General Terms Agreements (GTA’s) with various suppliers
  • Purchase Order and Invoice Management
  • Primary interface with Contract Management Department
  • Interface with other Departments on Models and Reporting
  • Management of Operator modification requests
  • Establishing and managing a technical data archive such as Engine Shop Visit costs, Airframe check costs etc
  • Management of 3rd party technical service providers
  • Data base integrity for technical data
  • Arranging customer visits as required for aircraft inspections
  • Building OEM and MRO relationships
  • Building relationships with Aviation Authorities in the countries where Goshawk and associated companies have aircraft on lease
  • Be an ambassador for Goshawk and associated companies

Prerequisite Core Skills and Knowledge Required:

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience in an asset Management Leasing environment.
  • Shop floor and/or operational experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Leasing operations, deliveries and transitions
  • Licences or company approvals
  • 3rd level qualifications in engineering or business
  • Team leadership
  • Airframe and/or engine experience
  • Airline operations and systems
  • Aircraft records
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Leasepoint experience an advantage
